In Feedier’s latest version 3.20, we’re excited to introduce the Autopilot module, a feature designed to automate and simplify your daily tasks. By handling routine processes like report generation and notifications automatically, the Autopilot module frees up your time to focus on insights and strategy.

What is the Autopilot module?

The Autopilot module is Feedier’s solution to automating repetitive tasks, helping you save time and increase efficiency. With this feature, you can easily set up workflows to automatically generate reports and send notifications on a recurring basis. Instead of managing these tasks manually, the Autopilot module handles them seamlessly in the background, allowing you to focus on analyzing feedback, tracking progress, and staying organized without the extra workload.

How it works?

At the heart of the Autopilot module is the Workflow Table, where users can easily view, track, and manage all active workflows.

Each workflow shows important details such as its name, status (whether it’s active or still in draft mode), the last time it ran a report or task, and the date it was created. Users can also quickly edit or delete workflows when needed.

Creating workflows in Feedier 3.20 is easy and flexible. It allows you to automate tasks like generating reports or sending team notifications. The process is built around three main steps:

  • Recurrence: This lets you decide how often the workflow runs. You can set it to trigger daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on your needs. For example, if you need a report every Monday or on the 1st of each month, you can set it up to happen automatically.
  • Report generation: This step automates the creation of reports. You can choose specific filters and schedules, so the system generates reports with exactly the data you need, when you need it. This means no more manual work—Feedier does it for you.
  • In-app notifications: Once a report is ready, you can notify team members automatically. This ensures everyone gets the right information on time, without having to send emails or reminders.

Each of these steps can be fully customized, making it easy to tailor the workflow to fit your specific tasks.

To make report management even more efficient, Feedier 3.20 introduces two types of automated reports within the Autopilot module:

  • Pre-filled reports: These reports are automatically filled with data that matches the filters and schedule you’ve chosen. For example, if you set up a report to pull customer feedback every week, it will always be up-to-date without any manual effort.
  • Master reports: These reports are based on a template you create, called a “Master Report.” It uses the same structure each time but fills in the latest data according to the schedule. This is especially useful for teams that need consistent reports, like quarterly reviews or weekly summaries.

Both types of reports are automatically saved in folders you choose, keeping everything organized and making it easy to find reports when you need them.

Guided tour and user control

Feedier 3.20 includes a built-in guided tour that helps you set up and manage workflows step by step, making it easy for even first-time users to start automating tasks quickly.

For administrators, the Autopilot module offers access controls that allow you to enable or disable the feature for specific users. This ensures that only authorized users can make changes to workflows, providing extra security.
